Farewell and Thank You to Ada Parry

After more than a decade of dedicated service, we are saying farewell to one of NAAFLS’ longest-serving Board Members, Ada Parry.

Ada joined the NAAFLS Board on 29 June 2012 and has been a committed advocate for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities throughout her tenure. Born on the banks of the Daly River in 1955 and delivered by her grandmothers, Ada’s deep connection to her heritage and culture has guided her work and leadership. Her strong advocacy for remote families and communities has underpinned her unwavering support and guidance in steering NAAFLS throughout her tenure.

We are incredibly grateful for Ada’s invaluable contributions and leadership at NAAFLS. We wish her all the best as she steps back from the Board, knowing that her legacy will continue to inspire us.

Thank you, Ada, for your dedication and passion.

You will always be part of the NAAFLS family.
